15 Things The Stranger Things Cast Spend Their Millions On

Intro

Since premiering in 2016, Stranger Things has been not only wildly popular but has made mega stars out of its cast, who just so happen to be kids. And what tends to go hand-in-hand with celebrities is lots of cash. Here’s a look at all the fun splurges the Stranger Things kids spend their mula on.

“These are Air Jordan Ones. I got them last year.”

Number One: Millie Bobby Brown’s Wheels and Deals

Puppy Love

And breakout star Millie Bobby Brown may seem like your average child actor prodigy, but her spending habits definitely show more than meets the eye. Unlike most teen girls, Millie is a car girl, and some of her purchases are decadent.

Millie has acquired a variety of automobiles, including a seventy thousand dollar repurposed Mercedes van, a twenty-seven thousand dollar Mini Cooper (which, tbh, is a pretty average-priced car), and a specially made one hundred thousand dollar Cadillac Escalade.

And sure, Millie can afford these cars at the moment, since she’s pulling in a cool 300,000 per episode. But am I the old uncool one for thinking she should be saving for a rainy day? Beep beep—here’s hoping Millie is driving those cars straight to a bank to invest in an RRSP.

Number Two: Puppy Love

While it’s more sweet than outrageous, two of the main stars of Stranger Things have taken to spending their hard-earned dough on cute little pups. What started as a service dog to keep the kids relaxed on set, Joe Kiri took home the little Pomeranian permanently. Not shortly after, Finn Wolfhard bought the same breed dog. Park dates, anyone?

Number Three: The Hair’s Got It

The top cutie of the show, Joe Keary, who plays Steve, has made his mark on the heart of tween girls everywhere by flaunting that wild hair he has. Well, good thing people are enjoying the goods, because he sure spends enough on the maintenance of it.

Dipping into the hair product game, Joe only uses Oribe products, which can start at 65 a bottle, which I guess is to scale since Joe is pulling in a sweet 250,000 an episode. He could probably dip into that hair gold if he wanted.

So next time you’re using drugstore brand shampoo, have a little memory of Joe flaunting his hundreds-of-dollars quaff.

Number Four: Clothes, Clothes, Clothes

While it should be a surprise to no one that cool teens like cool clothes, these Stranger Things teens are taking it to the next level.

Joe Kiri has been known to wear suits from such designers as Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana, coming in at around 8,000 per suit. But Joe isn’t the only clothes horse.

Millie Bobby Brown is showing off her Justin Bieber Drew merch for all the Gen Zs in the know, retailing for about two hundred dollars. Finn Wolfhard is also known to rock a sweet two-piece suit ripped straight off the runways.

Guessing the kids really want to prove how cool they can look after years of wearing 80s-style fashion on the show.

Number Five: I’m With the Band

Fans and critics alike have loved Finn Wolfhard’s depictions of small-town boy Mike Wheeler with a penchant for mystery solving. But fun fact: Finn is a budding musician.

Finn is taking his hard-earned 225,000 dollars an episode and putting it back into his music career with an out-of-control guitar collection.

Finn may need to chill on his Fender collection, with each guitar starting at two thousand dollars a pop. And in case you’re wondering how many guitars Finn happens to have, a real Fender head Finn has over eight guitars, including a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, Gibson Les Paul Jr., Fender Mustang electric guitar, Fender Jazz Master electric guitar, Fender Telecaster Thinline electric guitar, Epiphany Casino, and Gibson SG Melody Maker.

That being said, if he can survive the Upside Down, he can figure out a way to support this guitar-buying habit.

Number Six: Traveling in Style

Like any good money spender, we all know that the best way to spend that cash would be on experiences, and the cast is living that travel influencer life.

Gaten Matarazzo, Dustin Henderson on the show, is an avid traveler, bragging of his trips to Paris, London, and L.A.

Number Seven: Game Boys

Like most teen boys, video games are life, but Finn Wolfhard takes it to the next level. A big proponent of Nintendo Switch, Finn not only stans this gaming system but owns every game that accompanies it.

But Finn isn’t the only fan. Lucas Sinclair actor Caleb McLaughlin is a spokesperson for the PC gaming unit Activision and is obsessed with their Destiny franchise.

Caleb was even lucky enough to get to try out their Destiny 2 game before it was released. In fact, Caleb was lucky enough to get sent a free copy of the game—proving that the way to score free stuff is to earn two hundred and fifty thousand dollars an episode.

Number Eight: Millie’s Business

Millie Bobby Brown may be young, but that’s not stopping her from being an entrepreneur. Starting what she had described as a Gen Z beauty brand, Florence, it’s a beauty brand that caters to the youth with skin care and makeup.

So despite all the spending, Millie is keeping a level head and investing back into herself.

Number Nine: Shoe Heaven

Since Carrie Bradshaw hit the scene, shoes have been the rich kid spending habit of choice. And while heels may not be on the agenda, the shoes are just as luxe.

Millie Bobby Brown had a pair of personalized Converse made just for her. Hopefully she kept them in good condition, considering her shoe size is about to change due to, you know, growing up.

But Millie isn’t the only sneakerhead. Caleb McLaughlin has been gifted several Air Jordans, which you can catch him unboxing on his Instagram.

And while Caleb is scoring these shoes for free, why do we gift the rich? They are technically worth anywhere from 200 to 900.

Hopefully these expensive shoes make running up that hill quite comfy.

Number Ten: PJs for the Kiddies

While most people could work their entire lives and never make enough to fly first class on an airplane, these Stranger Things kids have barely passed high school and they’re living that private jet life.

Most notably, the cast was seen taking a private plane to film on location for an episode of Stranger Things.

Number Eleven: Kiddies That Are Foodies

Well, everyone knows the main food of Stranger Things is Eggo waffles. The kids are making the bucks where they could be spending their cash on big restaurants.

However, they’re a lot more low-key than that, with star Millie Bobby Brown stating that her fav foods to eat on set are vanilla ice cream, Starbucks tea, hummus and carrots, and something called a McCod, which is an on-set creation in which Millie says is a little salad that’s jam-packed with tomato, ham, avocado, and hot sriracha.

“It’s really, really good, and I’ll have them in the middle of the set.”

Number Twelve: Sadie Sink’s Model Past

New castmate Sadie Sink is no stranger to making the big bucks as a former model for Kate Spade, Chanel, and Givenchy. Her main expenditures are clothing.

But fun fact: Sadie is a comic book nerd who loves to explore the world of Superman. And for all you Swifties, we are assuming the “All Too Well” star, with her 150,000 paycheck, can buy her own scarfs as well.

Number Thirteen: Hoop Dreams

Experience-based purchases really are the most special, and sneakerhead kiddo Caleb McLaughlin is all about it. A basketball fan, he’s often spending his hard-earned—and by hard-earned we mean easily obtained cash due to Stranger Things popularity—on basketball games.

So keep your eyes peeled at the next Lakers game and catch Caleb in the cushion seat there.

Number Fourteen: Broadway Dreams

Gaten Matarazzo seems to be using his cashola lucratively by relocating to New York and starring in the upcoming production of Dear Evan Hansen.

We love to see a kid chase after his dreams that are pretty obtainable, considering he’s on the most popular show on any streaming site.

Number Fifteen: Noah Schnapp’s Sustainable Spread

Not every Stranger Things star spends their money on cars and clothes. Budding entrepreneur Noah Schnapp has created his own business.

In November 2021, he announced his new snack product he calls TBH, To Be Honest, which offers a sustainable Nutella-like spread.

Love to see sustainability in the business plan, because after all, the children are our future.

It’s been an amazing experience, one that honestly I wish on anyone.
